One of these.

It has been a while since I wrote one of these. I have been keeping my schedule pretty well. I think I only messed up one time when I had a headache. Not sure though. Writing feels a lot better now that I have my schedule that works. I don´t have to force it. Well maybe a little bit but it doesn't feel bad. I sometimes feel like I would want to write more after I finish one chapter but I still haven't been able to write more. It is probably because in the past I forced myself to write and now I feel wary towards it. Maybe in time I can write a lot more than I do now. It would be nice since I have a lot of book ideas that I want to write. I still haven't even started on the fourth book that I came up with years ago. I have been thinking a lot about this eastern kind of book that takes place in another continent. The way they use magic would be a bit different and they would have sects and things like that. It would be nice to see how they react when ...

#13 We journeyed to the place with the elves. The place is surprisingly a big forest. Just joking. It isn’t actually surprising. The surprising part is the trees themselves. They are incredibly green, and it feels like you can see through them. Its like they are made of emeralds or something. It is a truly beautiful place. The trip here went smoothly if we don’t take into consideration how badly Layla interacted with others during it. She knows she can’t fight us so she does whatever else she can do to make us feel worse. It is mostly just verbal abuse and belittling. It is understandable though. We did kill a lot of her kind and then we basically forced her to come with us. Its not surprising that she hates us. Her attitude must be normally pretty bad too since she is the princess of the vampire race. Feeling superior should be the norm for her. She is strong too which doesn’t help. Well it does help in fights, but she isn’t exactly a team player. If ...

Susie and the snakes

16. Susie and the snakes.  The snakes are coming toward me but there is no real danger. Even if it was the huge snake from before I could still beat it without my sword. They start charging at me and I kill them as they come by slicing them with my hands. There are a few at the back that didn’t attack me with the others. I should keep them alive and take them with me to let Susie get used to the snakes. I finish killing the other snakes and head toward the few behind the other dead snakes. They hiss at me and start slithering away. I easily catch them and lift them up on my left shoulder. I only have room for one per each shoulder so throw the two others on the ground and kill one of them. Then I take the other one from the ground and put it on top of my right shoulder. They are quite heavy, but I can still carry them. They try to squirm out of my hold but since I am holding one with each hand, they can’t get free. This should be enough meat to feed us ...

#12 It has been a while since I last wrote anything. A lot has happened since then. I managed to get the magical equipment! That happened just recently though. I should tell what happened in an order. There were a lot of battles with different creatures. We met a lot of different races and some of them were hostile and even attacked us. We even explored some incredible places. One of them was a volcano that had some lava golem things. We found and gathered a lot more herbs and minerals, most of them new and more magical than what we had before. I tried making some potions with them by myself, but the color and the smell was scary, so no one was brave enough to try them out. The teamwork of my companions has become near perfect. I got a bit jealous of how well they worked together as a team so for some harder creatures instead of just handling it myself I fought with my companions to defeat them. Our teamwork was horrible. The three of them had their own patterns a...

Ants

19. Ants The ants didn’t come. Why? They could have easily dealt with me if they kept chasing me. Should I go back to eat the ant I killed? No, not yet at least. I need to rest a bit and get my strength back. I am still really hungry but at least I got some of the green liquid. It doesn’t hurt that much anymore. I look at the ball of fur while I am resting. It just keeps hopping around and occasionally eating some grass. What a weird creature. Why do you stay with me? Wouldn’t it be better if you were alone? Or if you were with other balls of fur. I guess being with other balls of fur might not be the best idea. They would just eat your grass and they might fight you for the grass. Even your parents could keep you away from grass and not let you eat anything. Don’t worry, I won’t eat your grass. I will do what I can to let you eat as much grass as you want. The ball of fur jumps around and then it comes toward me. It jumps on top of me and then comes closer...

#11 I found a lot of dragons. I chased after the dragon for three days and I was a lot slower than it. After a day I didn’t even see it anymore. Luckily it continued to fly in one direction so I could find it again. Shame that the place it stopped was its home mountain area. There are a lot of dragons here and even though I am strong I am not sure if I can beat all of them while trying to not kill them. I can’t honestly. I will need to find a way to get one of them alone and then approach it. --- I carefully looked around the place where they live and how they live. It was honestly quite interesting watching how massive dragons live. They remind me of normal lizards if I don’t take into account their size and wings. They rarely fly, if they want to go somewhere, they just walk there. Only if they need to go somewhere far away will they fly there. They eat meat and they give birth with eggs. Their skin is also scaly. Well the way they hunt is a bit diffe...

Snakes in the forest

15. Snakes in the forest I start running past the trees silently to find prey quickly. I don’t want to leave them alone for too long since one-person can’t see everywhere at the same time. There could be dangerous animals that are hard to detect, and they could hurt the children before Sarah can do anything. Then again Sarah should be good at detecting them since she is a rabbit girl. They all should have good senses since they are partly animals. Maybe I am just worrying too much. The forest seems quiet again. I can’t hear the sounds from the children anymore. There are no living creatures near me. It is oddly calming to be here. Maybe I should consider staying here even after the children get to a safe place. Well I will have a lot of time to experience how it feels to live here since the war has just started in the outside world. I will have to take care of them until it ends, and everything becomes peaceful again. I suppose I shouldn’t keep feeding them onl...

#10 The quest to find a living sword has begun. I assume that to find something like that we must head deeper to the south since the huge golem we encountered didn’t have much intellect even though it was living. Also, since it was so huge it must have been able to gather more mana that way. If a small object like a sword wants to reach the same point, then it should be in a place that has a lot more mana. We went through a rocky place that had little to no plants there. Beasts were similarly rare and most of the enemies were the same kind of rock monsters. There were some differences with them as in some had different shades of colors and depending on the color, they were more resistant to certain kind of magic. There was also one bigger than other ones that was incredibly tough. I had to help my companions in beating it since I’m not sure if they could have done it by themselves. If they can get better over time thanks to mana, then they couldn’t have done i...

New beginnings

18. New beginnings I slowly walk to the direction where I think I came from. I can’t see anything, so I am only guessing where to go. I often stumble or fall down from all the things on the ground, but I just stand back up and keep going. I hit a dirt wall. The wide area must end here. I keep my hand at the dirt wall and walk to the left. Soon my hand feels the end of the wall. That must be the way out. I walk in that direction until I can see a faint light up ahead. I follow the light and it keeps getting stronger. The path starts going upwards and it is getting smaller too. I can see the sky now. It is very bright. I get up from the ground and look around. My eyes take a while to adjust to the light, but I soon see that the area around here is in a complete mess. The trees are on the ground and the area around the hole has been dug a lot. There is dirt and fallen trees everywhere. I should leave this place before it comes back. I feel something next to my leg. ...

#9

#9 It has been a while since I last wrote anything. Rann started to trust Tefa and the skeleton enough to let them keep a lookout. Then the skeleton offered to keep a look out for the whole night since he doesn’t sleep, and I accepted it happily. Since then I have been sleeping the whole night properly. It has been blissful. We have traveled a long way to the south and encountered lots of different races during it. I wanted to visit them all, but most were hostile and didn’t let us in to their villages or towns. Even if they were obviously starving, they still refused our help and wanted us to leave. A few places were in horrible condition and we helped them even though they tried to refuse. If we left them alone, they would have died from starving if beasts didn’t attack them first. If the group has enough strength to hunt, then they can survive well here but hunting is always dangerous and if everyone who is capable of hunting dies then they will have a bleak futu...
