We experienced a battle. The water elementals attacked the fire elemental village and we had to step in, or they would have gotten exterminated. The fire elementals are apparently the weakest of the bunch and they have been slowly getting lower and lower on numbers and at the moment they are on their last legs.

It makes sense though. water extinguishes fire. Earth repels it and well I don’t know about air. Guess it can blow the fire out? Shouldn’t it make the fire stronger?

Okay I asked the fire elementals and they told me that air elementals can just fly away and make huge gusts of winds from a far to deal with them. If they are in their immaterial forms, they would dissipate and if they are in their material forms, they would just fly around and hit trees or other things.
I am honestly surprised that they managed to live this long. They have had some tactics where they burn the forests and other things to give them a boost in their power but overtime, they got accustomed to them and made guerilla attacks or just waited until the things burned out.

They also had troubles attacking the other elementalists since they could always escape easily to somewhere. Water ones could just dive into lakes or oceans. Earth ones to the earth and air ones to the air. Fire ones have no real place to escape to besides burning something and escaping to the fire, but they can only use that tactic up to a point.

Of course, if they kept running while burning things down at the same time, they could run away forever but they apparently can’t survive in places that have too little mana in the air. So, going north is out of the option.

Going more to the south is too dangerous apparently and it gets harder to burn down the trees and other things there, so they are kind of stuck here. Going across the water to another piece of land?

They can but if they fall into the water, they are pretty doomed. Some big fish knocks over their raft and it is game over. They still have the biggest firepower though. Hehe. If you imagine fighting against a monster or a beast sure the other elementalists would be safe most of the time but they wouldn’t be able to hurt them easily. Fire elementals on the other hand would easily kill them even if there was only one of them.

So even if they are the weakest when it comes to fighting the other elementalists I think they are the strongest in general.

Also, I can see that there is a huge potential in them. They would make great blacksmiths. Their control over fire should be way better than the vampires´ they are literally made of fire after all.

Maybe they could even make a living weapon for me. Also, I am kind of excited to meet the earth elementals since they should know a lot about herbs and stuff. I can’t wait for the elf to start talking with me after all.

Anyways in the battle we had against the water elementals Rann, Tefa, skeleton and I fought with the fire elementals to fend off the water ones. It felt weird fighting against things that could turn into water because any physical attack we made didn’t work.

The skeleton was fine against them and is probably pretty overpowered against elementalists anyway but Rann and Tefa had little they could do against them as their magic isn’t the best. It has been getting better during this journey, but they are far from being able to fight elementalists whose whole being is an elemental magic.
I on the other hand just overpowered them with my flames. Even though flames are weak against water if the difference is too huge the water ends up dissipating. Which is exactly what happened. It ended up scaring the water elementalists and they ran away.

The fire ones were really impressed by my flames and they almost started worshipping me. Calling me a fire god or the burning savior. I quickly opposed to this since ending up as a god would do me more harm than good. Well there are a few perks that I could think of that wouldn’t be that bad but again, not worth it.

I can probably get them anyways after all.

Oh, there is some commotion outside. Someone seems to be attacking us again.

Updates and things.

Hello, it has been a while since I just talked, I have been mostly just posted chapters late and that´s it. I have had some troubles with mental things and school, well I mostly failed my summer courses already but I still keep stressing about them so that is pretty problematic. But other than that I am feeling pretty good, I managed to start jogging and well I managed to end that too but I am confident I will start again when my sleep rhythm turns weird again. Firstly, I have been thinking, and checking the earlier chapters of Melissa´s Archway and I have done corrections on the first three chapters and they look a lot different now so check them out if you want but its still pretty much the same. I have been posting them on Wattpad too which is a website I found and it seems interesting, I will still post all the things I write here too but I will also post them on Wattpad after I correct them. Made it, but.

I made it and I am glad I did but I was not able to write then individual training chapters this week at all and I am quite sad about that because next week I will focus on the third book and I probably wont have enough time to write them. I will write them at some point but the longer it takes the less relevant they will be and it makes writing them feel less fun. Well at the latest I will write them after I finish the first book of Melissa´s Archway but I will try to find a way to write them earlier.
