#15 We finally managed to kill the giant creature. It turned out that it was a giant turtle like creature. Our first attack on it did nothing to it. Not only was its shell really hard, even its legs which are supposed to be the weak point were tough. We kept attacking one of its legs after our ambush, but it felt like cutting a tree with a rusty axe. Sure, we left some marks and scratches, but we couldn’t even make it bleed. I tried using fire magic on its leg, but it didn’t seem effective. Then the skeleton used his new magic. Something black condensed on skeletons arms and when he cut with it, he actually got through. There was blood. Then the turtle got mad. Skeleton almost got squashed under the turtles’ foot. We all retreated for a moment to ponder what we should do. The turtle didn’t follow us. It wasn’t truly angry about getting wounded. Probably just annoyed. It kept calmly walking toward the elven forest after we left it alone. The elf that was with u...

Bonding

  17. Bonding As we get back to the others, they look surprised and fearful. Susie is covered in the snakes´ blood after all. Oh yeah, I guess I have a big snake with me too. “Everything is alright. We were only practicing with Susie and these snakes. Charles do you want to cook the snake?” Charles comes and nods while taking the mangled corpse of the snake from my hand. The other snake tries to struggle but I keep it under control. The children look at the snakes with fear. “We will start encountering a lot of snakes from now on. There are small ones and big ones and they could be in the trees or holes in the ground. Get used to them since I might not be able to keep an eye out for everyone.” The lizard kids look even more scared now. So does Lillie. Charles doesn’t seem any different while the cat girls look the same. Susie looks angry. I hope she can keep her emotions under control. “If it´s those little snakes then I can deal with them by...

#14 I met the elves! It was amazing. First of all, the sunrise was something I have never seen before. I mean I have seen a sunrise before but not one like that. The light hit the trees and changed color to have a green hue. Then when as we were about to go inside the forest, the elves appeared. The appearance was very elf like. Long ears, smooth facial features. Mostly blond hairs. Beautiful. Especially in the setting we were they looked even more stunning. They questioned about the vampire and after I explained about what happened they let us come inside. Apparently, they usually don’t let others inside their forest, but they have a serious problem which they wanted our help with. They led us to their leader which was a woman that looked young but by the color of her white hair I could assume that she was old. Not sure though. Just an assumption. Next to her there was woman who looked incredible even compared to the other elves. There were also few male elves gu...

Meal

20 Meal.  Something is licking my face. It should be the fur ball again. I can keep sleeping right? What if it isn’t the fur ball? I might be in danger.    I can always just open my eyes to check. If it is the fur ball, then I can go back to sleep. I open my eyes. It is the fur ball. I close my eyes. It is dark. I want to sleep. I am so tired. I am also in pain. Hunger hurts. My body hurts too. Even moving a little bit makes the pain a lot worse. I can’t sleep. I need to eat and get better. I open my eyes again. Fur ball is still there. I am glad it is alright. I look around and see the ant corpse next to me. I am still holding the dagger. I need to eat this ant, but I don’t have fire. I also don’t have any way of making a fire. I need to eat it as it is. The taste won’t be good but that isn’t important right now. I get up and pull my dagger free. Green spurt out from the wound. My dagger is covered in it. I carefully lick the dagger. The ta...

One of these.

It has been a while since I wrote one of these. I have been keeping my schedule pretty well. I think I only messed up one time when I had a headache. Not sure though. Writing feels a lot better now that I have my schedule that works. I don´t have to force it. Well maybe a little bit but it doesn't feel bad. I sometimes feel like I would want to write more after I finish one chapter but I still haven't been able to write more. It is probably because in the past I forced myself to write and now I feel wary towards it. Maybe in time I can write a lot more than I do now. It would be nice since I have a lot of book ideas that I want to write. I still haven't even started on the fourth book that I came up with years ago. I have been thinking a lot about this eastern kind of book that takes place in another continent. The way they use magic would be a bit different and they would have sects and things like that. It would be nice to see how they react when ...

#13 We journeyed to the place with the elves. The place is surprisingly a big forest. Just joking. It isn’t actually surprising. The surprising part is the trees themselves. They are incredibly green, and it feels like you can see through them. Its like they are made of emeralds or something. It is a truly beautiful place. The trip here went smoothly if we don’t take into consideration how badly Layla interacted with others during it. She knows she can’t fight us so she does whatever else she can do to make us feel worse. It is mostly just verbal abuse and belittling. It is understandable though. We did kill a lot of her kind and then we basically forced her to come with us. Its not surprising that she hates us. Her attitude must be normally pretty bad too since she is the princess of the vampire race. Feeling superior should be the norm for her. She is strong too which doesn’t help. Well it does help in fights, but she isn’t exactly a team player. If ...

Susie and the snakes

16. Susie and the snakes.  The snakes are coming toward me but there is no real danger. Even if it was the huge snake from before I could still beat it without my sword. They start charging at me and I kill them as they come by slicing them with my hands. There are a few at the back that didn’t attack me with the others. I should keep them alive and take them with me to let Susie get used to the snakes. I finish killing the other snakes and head toward the few behind the other dead snakes. They hiss at me and start slithering away. I easily catch them and lift them up on my left shoulder. I only have room for one per each shoulder so throw the two others on the ground and kill one of them. Then I take the other one from the ground and put it on top of my right shoulder. They are quite heavy, but I can still carry them. They try to squirm out of my hold but since I am holding one with each hand, they can’t get free. This should be enough meat to feed us ...

#12

#12 It has been a while since I last wrote anything. A lot has happened since then. I managed to get the magical equipment! That happened just recently though. I should tell what happened in an order. There were a lot of battles with different creatures. We met a lot of different races and some of them were hostile and even attacked us. We even explored some incredible places. One of them was a volcano that had some lava golem things. We found and gathered a lot more herbs and minerals, most of them new and more magical than what we had before. I tried making some potions with them by myself, but the color and the smell was scary, so no one was brave enough to try them out. The teamwork of my companions has become near perfect. I got a bit jealous of how well they worked together as a team so for some harder creatures instead of just handling it myself I fought with my companions to defeat them. Our teamwork was horrible. The three of them had their own patterns a...

Ants

19. Ants The ants didn’t come. Why? They could have easily dealt with me if they kept chasing me. Should I go back to eat the ant I killed? No, not yet at least. I need to rest a bit and get my strength back. I am still really hungry but at least I got some of the green liquid. It doesn’t hurt that much anymore. I look at the ball of fur while I am resting. It just keeps hopping around and occasionally eating some grass. What a weird creature. Why do you stay with me? Wouldn’t it be better if you were alone? Or if you were with other balls of fur. I guess being with other balls of fur might not be the best idea. They would just eat your grass and they might fight you for the grass. Even your parents could keep you away from grass and not let you eat anything. Don’t worry, I won’t eat your grass. I will do what I can to let you eat as much grass as you want. The ball of fur jumps around and then it comes toward me. It jumps on top of me and then comes closer...
